Ever since I was a small boy I enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together again. I used to travel to my uncle’s garage after school and on the weekends to help and assist in all the basics of automotive repair. I was inspired to attend Technical Automotive Engineering College where I learned about the repair and maintenance of vehicles such as Peugeot, Renault, Land Rover, Jaguar and Ford. After four years of study, I completed the highest level of education and became certified at the London Institute of City & Guilds.
I worked full time for Independent Repair Shops in the northwest of England for the next four years before moving to America seeking adventure. Shortly after relocating, I met a fellow Englishman who owned an independent repair shop specializing
in Land Rovers and Antique Race Cars in Saratoga Springs, New York. My fellow native was affiliated with several race teams within the United States and working with him granted me travel opportunities to explore the United States and be involved with vintage and high performance sports cars. The highlight of my career was marrying my wife and relocating to the Boston area where after working 15+ years in corporate dealerships I decided to fulfill my childhood fantasy of owning my own garage… thus, The European Garage LLC was opened in 2010 and more fun than I could have imagined as a small boy remembering back to those childhood days in my uncle’s garage.
